Showcase Service – Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

By subscribing to Salon Guru’s Showcase service, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These terms govern your use of the Service and form a legally binding agreement between you (“the Client”) and Salon Guru.

2. Service Overview

Showcase is a digital AI-powered feature that designed to showcase your team’s hair creations automatically and help clients find the perfect stylist instantly and in a visually engaging format. The service is provided on a subscription basis and remains the property of Salon Guru at all times.

3. Subscription & Payment

• Showcase is provided on a recurring subscription basis.
• Payment terms will be agreed upon at the point of sign-up.
• Continued access to Showcase is dependent on timely payment of all subscription fees.
• Salon Guru reserves the right to suspend or terminate the service if payments are overdue.

4. Cancellation Policy

• A minimum of one full calendar month’s written notice is required to cancel your subscription.
• Notice must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected].

Please note:

• Upon cancellation, the Showcase app will be removed from your website.
• You will no longer have access to the Showcase Service or its features.
• If your website was built by Salon Guru and you choose to move to another provider, the Showcase feature remains the property of Salon Guru and will not automatically transfer with your website.
• Continued use of the Showcase Service on a new website will require an active subscription.

5. Data Protection & Privacy

Salon Guru takes data protection seriously and is committed to safeguarding your personal and financial information.

• All client data is handled securely and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
• Any personal or financial information provided will be stored securely and used only for the purpose of delivering the Showcase service.

Showcase includes integrated Privacy and Cookie Policies, which ensure that:

• Any information collected via your website is secure and protected.
• Data collected from your clients will not be shared with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
• Appropriate measures are in place to prevent unauthorised access or misuse of data.

6. Special Introductory Offers

• If you subscribe to the Showcase service under a special introductory offer, the agreed pricing will remain fixed for the first 12 months of your subscription.
• After the initial 12-month period, Salon Guru reserves the right to review and amend the subscription fee.
• Any changes to pricing will be communicated in advance.

7. Intellectual Property

• Showcase, including its design, functionality, and software, remains the intellectual property of Salon Guru.
• Clients are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the service during the subscription period only.
• The Service may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

8. Service Availability & Updates

• Salon Guru will make reasonable efforts to ensure Showcase is available at all times.
• We reserve the right to update, modify, or improve the service at any time to enhance performance or functionality.
• Occasional maintenance may result in temporary downtime.

9. Limitation of Liability

• Salon Guru shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use or inability to use the Showcase service.
• While we take all reasonable steps to ensure performance and security, we cannot guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10. Termination

Salon Guru reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to Showcase if:

• The Client breaches these Terms & Conditions.
• Payment obligations are not met.
• Showcase is misused in any way.

11. Amendments to Terms

Salon Guru reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
